PCT S.A. (Piraeus Container Terminal S.A.), a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Ports Ltd, announces the launch of its Scholarship Program for the third consecutive year, with a total value of €20,000, continuing its support for young people from the Municipalities of Perama and Keratsini-Drapetsona as they embark on their academic journey.
Under the 2026 Scholarship Program, five scholarships, worth €4,000 each, will be awarded. Four scholarships will be granted to first-year university students from Greek public high schools in the Municipality of Perama, while one scholarship will be awarded to a first-year university student from the Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona, or to residents of the above Municipalities who have graduated from Greek public high schools and achieved high academic performance in the June 2026 Panhellenic Examinations.
The continuation of the Scholarship Program reflects PCT’s longstanding commitment to supporting education and the younger generation in the local communities in which it operates. The initiative forms part of the Company’s broader social contribution program, through which PCT consistently implements targeted initiatives and partnerships aimed at supporting the educational community and creating opportunities for young people. Through the Scholarship Program, the company recognizes academic effort and supports young people as they take their first steps in higher education, while contributing to the creation of long-term value for the local community.
Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications by 23 October 2026 through PCT’s website, www.pct.com.gr/scholarships, together with the required supporting documentation, as specified in the Program announcement. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of academic performance and social criteria.
